Cognedu automatically applies real-time face masking to anonymize individuals in both video and image data. This ensures that student identities are visually protected, even during analysis. All data — including video, audio, and logs — are encrypted both at rest and in transit using modern cryptographic standards like AES-256 and TLS 1.3. This guarantees your data is safe from unauthorized access, interception, or tampering.
Your Data Stays Local — Unless You Say Otherwise (Edge-first AI)
Cognedu processes all sensitive data, including video streams, on local edge devices within each classroom. No personally identifiable information (PII) is transmitted to the cloud by default. Cloud uploads for deeper analysis are only performed at specific time, with encrypted, anonymized data — and only with explicit administrative permission. This minimizes privacy risk while maximizing insight.
Ethical AI That Learns Responsibly
Our AI models are trained using anonymized datasets, meaning students are not identifiable even in the learning process. Cognedu follows strict consent protocols for any dataset used in model training.
